Green Spanish Rice

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup long grain rice
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 (15 oz.) can Stokes Green Chile Sauce with Chicken
  • 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan heat oil and rice. Sauté until brown.
  2. Add water and simmer about 25 minutes.
  3. Heat 1 can of Stokes Green Chile Sauce with Chicken on the stove until warm. Or place 1 can of Stokes Green Chile Sauce with Chicken in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on high for two minutes.
  4. When rice is done, place in serving bowl and top with Stokes Green Chile Sauce with Chicken and cheese.
